Did you know?
In the late 1960’s, the Valley City Chamber of Commerce members undertook such projects as installing signs for the industrial park on Liverpool Drive.
Four “Welcome to Valley City” signs were erected by the Chamber in October 1974. These were located on the four major roads entering Liverpool, SR 303 and SR 252.
In 1987 they were replaced with new signs, which were refurbished in 1996 and donated to the township. Somewhere around 2018 these had deteriorated and three were removed.
Today, the Valley City Community Group, working with Township Trustees, have new signs located on the four entrance roads, thanks to donations by Dandy Blend; Mack Industries; Transitional Living Centers; and the Valley City Community Group
